French for “The Barber” This tongue in cheeky tune is a fun jaunt in C major with a light bossa/latin feel?1? It just feels good and is fun to play, This I can definitely see being played at all those fancy cocktail and private parties that thankfully still hire bands. A great piece from the great Dexter Gordon not only one of my favorite sax players ever but one of my favorite people ever. Dexter and his music made me realize that jazz is fun again.
