A Baptist Beat

This tune is exactly what it says it is, a nice baptist beat. Something to get the spirit aroused and moving and all that. A great little shuffle tune with lots of gospel motifs and blues lines. Kinda reminds me of a happy Moanin by Bobby Timmonds. This album Roll Call is really a great little hard bop date as 1960 was sort of the pinnacle of Blue Note for me. Let me know what you think!
