Originally written by Charles Tobias (Lyrics) and Peter De Rose (Music) in 1952. This beautiful little ballad was made famous mostly by Sarah Vaughan but the great Thad Jones covered this one on his fantastic album “The Magnificent Thad Jones” and that has quickly become my favorite version. He puts it in Eb rather than it's original key and I think it says something to change keys of tunes cause they all provide a different journey. The beautiful playing of Barry Harris here is really something to marvel at. I miss that man.

Hope some vocalists pick this up cause it's a great smoldering little tune. Let me know what you think!
